es ist doch schon wieder eine gewaltige Zeit her, dass ich ein paar Lieblingslyrics gepostet habe [X] und so finde ich, es ist Zeit das aktiv zu ändern. Als ich gestern nach einem sehr, sehr schönen Abend mit Freunden nach hause lief, lief auf meinem mp3 Player die wundervolle Melissa Etheridge. Eine Frau, die ich jahrelang verkannt habe und erst letztes Jahr durch meinen Bruder für mich entdecken konnte. Und was macht sie für tolle Musik! Also, wem es ähnlich geht wie mir, dem empfehle ich definitiv ihr mal eine Chance zu geben. Mein persönliches Lieblingslied ist vor allem wegen der tollen Lyrics “You can sleep while I drive”, da es in mir ein Bild der Situaion und des Gefühls heraufbeschwört, was wirklich nur wenige Songs schaffen. Und genau deswegen hat sich dieser Song ein Platz in den Lieblingslyrics verdient:
